the break is up. how sad. time to get back to the grind starting tomorrow.
i havent made lessons yet so it'll probably take me a while to get em ready for the kids.

new years was spent at the stinking rose in la, movies back at j's apartment, and three of my buddies staggering home drunk at 3 am.

good times for all.

LA transportation folks are gay. They had a no parking thus 8-10 sign going vertically on the street so i thought it was ok to park. wake up this morning cause jenny calls me and warns me about parking. send brian out real quick.
we got a ticket in the 5 min it took him to pack up and leave. apparently, even if both sides of the street are on the same street, they sweep different days so the left side gets tickets one day and the right side gets em the next. teh ghey.

got back from lunch with j after riding the bus to see her. the bus is fantastic, no homo. its fairly cheap and really quite entertaining based on the types of passengers you encounter.

reminder to myself:
take back and exchange some clothes on fri...while doing so, take papers and stop by wamu for account change.

two boys in my class had to call home for calling each other gay.
i told em, "those types of words are not supposed to be used in class. i wont accept anybody calling each other that unless they really are. are either of you? (answered by a emphatic NO!) Then don't use that word."

then i said, "no homo" under my breath. haha.

during pe? one kid found a crushed coors can and said, "Look what i found on the playground."
i ask, "Thats yours?"
he says, "NNOOOO! I just found it."
i say, "It ABSOLUTELY breaks my heart that somebody would drink that kind of poison near our school."

and then handed my coworker a bottle of courvoisier for xmas. haha. school is awesome.

had to turn down sat school this week tho
